United Airline, Baggage Room Modification/Slab Repair Laguardia Airport Glycol Tank Foundations

EWF has provided structural engineering services for the baggage room modification including slab repair and other miscellaneous related work at Terminal B, LaGuardia Airport. EWF provided procedures to jack the existing sinking concrete slab, redesigned new supporting steel members and verified the capacity of the existing floor to carry the expected additional baggage handling traffic. The services also included special inspection for removing concrete to sound surface and patching.

EWF has also provided civil and structural design for installation of glycol tanks, foundations and layouts for trucks accessing the tank area, at Hangar SA on air side of the terminal.
