Coney Island Water Pollution Control, Brooklyn, NY

Client: NYC Department of Environmental Protection

The project involved mapping existing structures, pipes, and utilities to aid in the rehabilitation of the entire WWPP located in Coney Island, Brooklyn, NY. A horizontal and vertical control traverses were laid down to provide a baseline grid. Topographical information was then obtained by the station and offset method.

Newark International Airport, Newark, NJ

Client: Port Authority of New York & New Jersey

In association with Charles H. Sells, Inc., we provided the topographic survey and mapping for the entire Newark International Airport. This project included aerial photography, ground control, baselines and benchmarks, preparation of base maps, utility location and the location of all site features.

Hutchinson River Parkway, Bronx, NY

Client: NYS Department of Transportation

EWF provided the engineering services necessary to conduct the studies required to prepare an Expanded the Project Proposal (EPP) for Safety Improvements of the Hutchinson River Parkway from Lafayette Ave to the New York City Line (4.5 miles), Bronx County. The work included traffic analysis review and analysis of existing physical conditions, ROW, pedestrian and bicycle data, accident analysis and alternatives to mitigate highway deficiencies and/or sub- standard conditions.

United Water of New Rochelle, New Rochelle, NY

Client: Port Authority of New York & New Jersey

EWF provided Surveying and Mapping Services including Topographical and Utility Location for United Water Inc., as a sub-consultant to CDM.

Middle School 158X, Bronx, NY

Client: NYC School Construction Authority

EWF provided surveying services in connection with the playground redevelopment – the work included establishing site control and project benchmarks, setting Grades for contractor and monitoring of sub base grades and finish grades.
